Rowayton Parents Exchange members -- join together and participate in Trash Bash on Saturday April 26th any time from 10am - 1pm. The event is hosted by the RCA and Historic Rowayton. Get your family together, get outside, and get moving towards a cleaner planet.
Check-in:
Check in with committee at the RCC to confirm zones for trash removal. We want to make sure that we have proper coverage throughout the community.
Volunteers please bring your own gardening/and or work gloves. If you don't have gloves, they will be provided but we are attempting to keep waste down.
Event:
All participants will go to their assigned pick-up zones. Pick up as much trash as you can! Trash bags can be left in agreed upon areas/zones for a later pickup OR you can bring your trash to the RCC and discard in the container provided.
There will be prizes for the following and will be handed out at the RCC:
- Strangest piece of trash
- Largest single item of trash.
Coffee and donuts will be provided. Photos of individuals and teams can be taken at check-in, and you'll pick up trash bags at check-in!
